These Terms and Conditions of Sale ("the Terms") are important to you and to Life Editions and should be considered carefully before you place an order with us. These Terms have been designed to protect your rights as a valued customer, to protect our rights as a business and to create an understanding between us.2. PURCHASING FROM US2.1 To purchase from us you must be 18 years or older. 2.2 We are not obliged to supply the goods or services to you until we have confirmed acceptance of your order. It is on our acceptance that a contract comes into effect between us. 2.3 Ownership for the goods transfers when we have been paid in full and delivery has taken place. 2.4 All products are supplied subject to availability. In the event that we are unable to supply any product, we will inform you of this as soon as possible. 2.5 Occasionally we may change the specifications of a product. Should this happen to a product you have ordered from us we will endeavour to offer you a substitute product of no less specification and equivalent price. 3. RETURNS POLICY & PROCEDUREWe hope that you will be completely satisfied with your product. However, it may be necessary to return your product to us in some limited circumstances. Please ensure that you follow these instructions for returning a product to avoid a delay in processing your return. 3.1 Returns will only be accepted if they are sent with an authorisation number attached. We must be notified by email of your intention to return goods for any reason prior to you sending a return. 3.2 If the products we send are faulty, damaged, or not as ordered, and if the goods are returned in their original condition, Life Editions will pay the return freight costs and any replacement cost involved. We take every care and make sure that we get it right to the best of our knowledge and ability according to the information you provide us at the time of placing the order. 3.3 If you change your mind and choose to return or exchange the goods we will refund you the original amount paid minus the original freight component you have paid. The cost of shipping the goods back to us is also at the customers expense. 3.4 CUSTOM MADE PRODUCTS OR EMBOSSED PRODUCTS are not subject to return. 3.5 DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE OR FAULTY GOODS In order for us to process your claim we will require a photograph &/or written description of the 'fault' or 'damage' emailed or sent to us in order for us to authorise the return. Returns sent without authorisation will not be accepted. 3.6 You the Customer are solely responsible for inspecting the product upon delivery. You must contact Life Editions should you wish to inform us of damaged, defective or missing goods and/or delivery discrepancies within 5 days of receiving the goods. 3.7 When sending a return to us, you are responsible for the safe carriage of the product back to us. If returned products are lost we will not be liable for them. Under no circumstances will Life Editions accept goods sent 'Collect', 'COD', or returned via our courier unpaid. We can, however, arrange to have the product collected. 3.8 Any product returned to us must be returned with all associated items originally sent as part of the product and in the same packaging. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of us receiving the goods. 3.9 Address for return of goods: Life Editions 6. PRICES AND PAYMENT6.1 Where specials are advertised, these products are subject to availability and are allocated on a strict first come first served basis. When all the stock of these products has been allocated, no substitute product will be offered. 6.2 The price you pay is the price displayed on this website in AUSTRALIAN DOLLARS (AU $) at the time we receive your order apart from the following exception; while we try and ensure that all prices on our website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund. 6.3 Payment can be made by any method specified in our Payment Options section. We will take all reasonable precautions to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but, unless we are negligent, we cannot be held liable for any losses caused as a result of unauthorised access to information provided by you. 6.4 The currency conversion amounts appearing within this site are for your information purposes only and are approximate amounts in your selected currency. Your credit card will be charged in Australian Dollars for the amount shown with AU $ as the currency and the converted amounts shown here are not necessarily the exact amounts that will appear on your credit card statement as international currency exchange rates are prone to change beyond the control of Life Editions. 6.5 All prices exclude any local taxes, tariffs or charges and hence these may be charged on goods by local authorities at delivery. Australian GST Tax is included in the prices quoted for purchases delivered within Australia. 7. DELIVERY7.1 All items are sent by courier and a signature will be required by the courier as proof of delivery. For this reason we request a work delivery address or an address where someone is guaranteed to be at the receiving address during daytime hours. 7.2 We make every effort to deliver goods within the estimated timescales, however delays are occasionally inevitable and time for delivery will not be of the essence. We will endeavour to keep you informed of any delay to your expected delivery date. 8. BUSINESS CUSTOMERS8.1 If you are a business or if the goods are used wholly or in part for business purposes we will not be liable to you for any business loss resulitng from delays beyond our control in supplying goods to you. 9.
